Scholarship facilities -Scholarships help students pay for education by providing financial assistance. For many students, scholarships are more than just financial help.

Lakshmi Nursing Institute offers a list of scholarships for GNM students based on students' marks in their last qualifying examination.. 

They are as follows:

Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. 60% marks in aggregate in the last qualifying examination (75% for previous year pass out candidates) from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education/West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education/Madrasa Education for Higher Secondary level.

2. The student’s gross annual family income does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000.

OASIS scholarship

Eligibility Criteria: 

The candidate must belong to SC or ST category. The family income should be less than 2 Lakh per annum.

Minority (Aikyashree) scholarship

Eligibility Criteria: 

The student is studying at the undergraduate level, he or she must have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th. The annual family income of the student should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.

Lakshmi Nursing Institute also offers Student Credit Card.

Eligibility Criteria: 

The maximum limit of the loan is ₹10 Lacs.

The age of the student must not be above 40 years.

10 years is the minimum period required for the student to live in West Bengal.

The maximum repayment period for this loan is 15 years.

Safety and Security: Prioritize the safety and security of the students. Install proper lighting, CCTV cameras, fire safety equipment, and secure access control systems. Ensure compliance with local safety regulations.

Hostel Infrastructure: Design and furnish the hostel rooms to provide comfortable and conducive living environments. Each room should have basic amenities such as beds, study tables, chairs, wardrobes, and adequate ventilation.

Common Areas: Common areas within the hostel, such as lounges, recreation rooms, and study rooms, to facilitate social interaction and relaxation among students.

Dining Area: Design a spacious and well-equipped dining area within the canteen facility. Provide sufficient seating arrangements and a pleasant ambiance for students to dine comfortably.

Kitchen and Food Preparation: Hygienic and well-equipped kitchen with appropriate cooking and storage facilities. Adhere to food safety guidelines and employ qualified staff to prepare nutritious and balanced meals.

Regular Maintenance: Our management has initiated a fixed schedule of regular maintaince which is twice in a week.

Outdoor Practice - Nursing is not only about theoretical knowledge, but also about being fluent in practical skills too. Therefore, Lakshmi nursing institute presents proper hospital training (Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, Paediatric Ward, SNCU,OT, CCU, ICU, different OPD etc.), mental hospital training, BPHC training, rural and urban community experience, industrial visits (  Water purification, Sewage plant, Milk dairy, GP, Sub Centre, ICDS,PHC,VHND etc.) and finally tours arranged for mind refreshment of the students. After the new students have completed 3 months of academics, they're deployed in hospitals and community so that they can perform their basic learnt skills there, as well as acquire the needed skills to be a full-fetched nurse in future. The industrial visits are also crucial for the students to gain external knowledge. And last, but not the least, learning is fun when there are tours involved, isn't it? Well-Equipped labs - It's quite obvious that practical knowledge is a crucial part of a nursing student's academics. So it's no surprise that this institute packs a punch when it comes to laboratory set up. There are well equipped labs in every subject where the practical approach is needed. There are 6 labs present, a fundamental of nursing lab, a paediatric lab, a nutrition lab, a community lab, an anatomy lab, and a computer lab. Each lab is spacious with proper lighting, ventilation and proper equipment (instruments, gown, gloves, dummy etc.) as needed for the different practical demonstrations. The computer lab has enough computers with updated software so, that the students can learn properly and be the jack of all traits.

Welcome to Lakshmi Nursing Institute, the premium institute for male nursing training and education located in Sugandha, Polba, Chinsurah, West Bengal.

Laboratories: We have six well-equipped labs which is associated with their prior subjects. Infrastructural details are as follows: 

Nursing Foundation lab (1250 sqft), CHN & Nutrition lab (550 sqft), Advance Nursing Skill lab (450sqft), OBG & Paediatrics lab (644 sqft), Pre-Clinical Science lab (650 sqft) and Computer Science lab (900 sqft).

Our labs provide hands-on learning opportunities for our students and help them apply theoretical concepts in practical scenarios.

Multi-Purpose Hall: We have a large and versatile multi-purpose hall with an area of 1058 sqft, suitable for various events like seminars, conferences, and workshops.

Common Rooms: We have two common rooms, one for students and another for staff, with an area of 504 sqft each. These rooms provide a comfortable space for students and staff to relax and unwind during breaks.

Staff Rooms: We have a staff room with an area of 600 sqft, providing a comfortable workspace for our faculty. Additionally, we have two rooms, one for the Principal and another for the Vice-Principal, with an area of 400 sqft each.

Library: We have a vast library facility with an area of 1,000 sqft, which is well-stocked with books, journals, and periodicals. Our library is a hub for academic research and offers both digital and print resources to support the learning needs of our students and faculty.

AV Room: We have a modern and advanced AV room with an area of 400 sqft, where students can play their video projects and watch informative videos associated with their studies.

Bathrooms and Store Room: We have three bathrooms and a store room with an area of 800 sqft in our premises, ensuring the basic needs of our students and staff are met.
